Introduction

One of the core aims of AIPP is to help raise standards of professionalism and knowledge in the international property industry. We would like your input to help guide us in delivery of this for you and your clients. Can you please spare 5 minutes now to tell us what you think in our short survey? Background

AIPP is currently consulting with the UK Housing Ministry (MHCLG) on Government-initiated proposals to regulate estate agents in the UK. This could include foreign-based agents visiting the UK to sell foreign property as well as UK-based agents selling foreign property to Brits.

Whilst the outcomes of this consultation with the UK Housing Ministry may not impact all AIPP members in a regulatory sense, it is our intention to use this opportunity to deliver, as best practice, to all AIPP members (in all 31 countries members are), the potential to improve industry standards. Such training would give AIPP members a further, tangible and credible point of difference with a training accreditation endorsed by AIPP and the Solicitors Regulation Authority, to assist your marketing.

Likely Training Structure

We want your thoughts in developing a training programme as follows:

1. Compliance and Best Practice

* AIPP Code of Conduct, Ethics & Standards

* AML – Anti-Money Laundering

* Data Protection & GDPR

2. Business Skills & Needs – training subjects might include, for example:

* Sales Skills

* Negotiation

* Lead Generation

* Staff Recruitment

3. AIPP Qualification

* To be launched in a few years time, potentially to be attained via a combination of our Compliance & Best Practice and Business Skill training, plus a final exam

THE AIPP MEMBER TRAINING SURVEY
1. We can deliver Compliance & Best Practice training online via interactive video and a 40 minute online test, your success prints a certificate to show clients, Interested?

3. Our second training module proposed as: 2. Data Protection & GDPR - many clients are worried about sensitive data leaks. Should we offer this training?
4. Our third training module proposed as: 3. AML - Anti-Money laundering. This is a high-profile issue in property, do you agree training required?
5. Total cost of these 3 online training modules is likely to be a total of £50 per company (small company), £100 (large company). Do you think this is a fair price?
6. If a member fails a module do you think it is fair to allow them to retake all 3 of these training modules as many times as they need until they pass? (Price does not increase!)
7. How much more likely do you think potential clients will be to choose your company when you display and highlight your training certificates?
