Netherlands: very busy international property show: 13,000+ visitors over 3 days

AIPP members enjoyed not only a record-breaking footfall of buyers but also, by all reports, high quality sales leads delivered by the Second Home team. Agents, developers and other property professionals from a new high of thirty different countries were present over a chilly and wet weekend in Utrecht.

One of the key drivers for the enhanced demand are changes made by the Dutch government concerning holiday home ownership located in The Netherlands itself. This is seeing many Dutch owners selling-up their typical lodges, park and brick homes and reinvesting the proceeds into a foreign property.

More than 180 exhibitors attended this event, with many AIPP members planning to return to the autumn shows with Second Home, later this year. There are two further events planned, this October; one in The Netherlands at Hertogenbosch and another Belgium in Ghent.
